Recipe Update: Mid Morning Snack
Friends,
My mid morning snack has now become my morning snack. My favorite smoothie and turned into my favorite breakfast all because I added fresh spinach.
That’s right. Now, my favorite on-the-go-breakfast consists of the following:
1 1/2 cups almond milk
1 (large) frozen banana
4 cups fresh spinach
2 Tblsp baking cocoa (hershey’s offers Special Dark baking cocoa–incredibly yummy)
Throw everything together in your Vita Mix, blend, and enjoy. And make sure you drink it with a straw. Like sandwiches that are made by somebody else, smoothies always taste better with a straw.
